This thesis is research "Buddhist believers’ self-consciousness". It’s methodology is using a questionnaire of "The to investigate Buddhist believers", and combination of Meditation practitioners conducting research and discussing the Buddhist believers’ self-consciousness. Its purpose is to present the main origin of Buddhism, Buddhist believers’philosophical perspective of self, as well as Eastern and Western psychological theory of self. Through this investigation "Buddhist believers’self-consciousness" of the situation.The results are achieved as follows:1.Through individual interviews and the questionnaire of mentalself-consciousness, social self-consciousness, and physical self-consciousness, and through an exploratory analysis, it shows that the questionnaire has good validity and reliability, and meets a standard of surveying psychology. Therefore, the Buddhist believers’self-consciousness can be applied in psychology.2.The result of the survey of this questionnaire also proves that:(1) The Buddhist believers’self-consciousness towards mental-self, social self, and physical self is valued higher than the medium level.(2) Non existence of sex in the various dimensions of self-consciousness shows that different gender does not impact on self-consciousness.(3) Because age and residence impact on the Buddhist believers’psychology, it demonstrates that the Buddhist believers’physical self depends on his age, living environment, living conditions, and economic conditions.(4) That knowledge and occupation influence on an individual’s social self illustrates that social status and knowledge impact on each person’s self-consciousness.(5) The different number of years old of the believer’s with the meditation practitioners towards mental-self dimensions were significantly different, practitioners Meditation time from2-5years and6years was significantly general issues is higher1year and1year less.
