Comparison Of Characteristic Words Between Pinghua Dialect In Southern Guangxi And Cantonese

Characteristic words have the important meanings of knowing a dialect and recongnizing the relation between dialects regions. Because there're confusion in history,region and language charactors between pinghua dialect and cantonese, definition of pinghua dialect wasn't sloved well. With the point of characteristic words, it's very necessary and important to do the comparison.This article uses correlative theory and researched date, whose representative characteristic words are from binyang dialect,tingzi pinghua and hengxian pinghua, at the same time, comparing with the first class characteristic words from < Characteristic words in cantonese> whose author is Zhang Shuangqing, to analyse the using situation. It's divided into: first, the same characteristic words in 3 regions; second, the same characteristic words in 2 regions; third, the same characteristic words in 1 regions; forth, the different characteristic words in 3 regions. It's hoped that we could offer reasonable words date to improve the development of Chinese word reseach.This article is made up of 3 parts: first, introduction, including theory of characteristic words,research summarize about pinghua dialect and research methods,process; second, characteristic words in pinghua dialect in southern Guangxi, including seeing about first,second class characteristic words and character of pinghua dialect in southern Guangxi; third, relation between pinghua dialect in southern Guangxi and other dialects with characteristic words, including relation between pinghua dialect and other dialects, pinghua dialect and cantonese.
