In Mandarin, the semantics of adverb "jiu" is a huge sematic tribe, which make the senior and present scholars to have made plenty of studies. Owe to its sematic complexity, there are many diverse options about the meaning of adverb "jiu" according to different scholars, which is hard for foreign students to understand and master the usage of it.This thesis will try to analyze the cognitive working mechanism of semantics of the adverb "jiu" and find out the relationship of the lexical polysemy of Chinese adverb "jiu" and other senses of it. Futhermore, based on the theories of error analysis and above conclusions as well as the latest findings in Chinese, we then analysis the adverb "jiu" errors.Finally, we present on its teaching suggestions for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. |
