The Study Of The Poetry Thought In Shao Mei Chan Yen By Fang Dongshu

Shao Mei Chan Yen,the great literature by Fang Dongshu is an importantpoetic study work. It is also the representative works of Tongcheng poetics. Theauthor of this thesis tries to further analyze this great work based on the formalstudy. This thesis is divided into six parts, and the following is the main contentsof each chapter. The first chapter tells us about the relationship between DongFangshu and the academic field in Qing dynasty, to study Dong Fangshu’sacademic thought in the background of scholarship atmosphere and to have amacro positioning about his poetic value orientation. The second chapterdecomposes the poetry structure of Dong Fangshu’s from the perspectives of "culture","reason" and "righteousness". It emphasizes the teaching power of poetryworks. And at the same time, to stress the natural feelings together with its role ofenlightenment, and to speak of one’s own ideas and thoughts. When it comes to itsgrammar feature, it advocates the refinements of the ancients, and the deepthought. The whole work can come to this state where the words does not need toappear each time but the meaning can be conveyed which can be called anadvanced grammar style. And about the choice of words, it always tries to avoidthe old expressions, it shows the advantage of the poetic words’ function ofavoiding those not-important things. The third chapter by the example of the "qi"and "miao" reveals the uniqueness of Fang Dongshu’s poetic aesthetic field. Thestudy of "qi" on the basis of the traditional study of " qi " shows the links between"qi" and "art" and "poetic style", which are respectively named as "the GrandMomentum" and "momentum"."Miao" mainly manifests in "sublime intention","image" and" grammar sublime". Chapter four, bases appraises in the poetryfamous expert, from Fang Dongshu’s reviews and the history of the developmentof poetry.It combs the development of the three poetry styles of "five-sentencepoem","seven-sentence poem" and "seven-sentence poetry" and analyzes DongFangshu’s review about the great poets and concrete study content and his method of studying poetry that is the way to do better than those former scholars.The fivechapter talks about Dong Fangshu’s feature from the perspectives of "the origin oftheory","analysis of content" and "criticization of the criticization method". Thelast part takes the poetic thought of the other Tongcheng poets as the foundation,combs the change process of Tongcheng poetics preliminary and proves the valueof Fang Dongshu’s theory about poetry.
