A Study On Fang Hui’s“Yan Bao Xie Poetry Criticism Of Wenxuan”

Fang Hui’s“Yan Bao Xie Poetry criticism of Wenxuan”has four volumes,it is a pioneer about the study of the history of comments on Wenxuan. The book is not written by Fang Hui at antemortem, but is combination from Fang Hui’s scattered commentary on Wenxuan by the later scholars. This book comments on some poems of Yan Yanzhi, Bao Zhao, Xie Lingyun, Xie Huilian,Xie Tiao, Xie Hun and Xie Zhan in Wenxuan. The incisive comments deserves attention and thinking of later scholars. In this paper, the“Yan Bao Xie Poetry criticism of Wenxuan”as the main research object, has systematically research on the poetics concept and criticism method of Fang Hui in this book, from the micro perspective to examine the poetic problems involved in the book,and strives to better grasp Accept and contemplation of ancient poetry of Wei, Jin, Northern and Southern Dynasties in Song and Yuan Dynasties.In order to clarify the clue of the article from the macroscopic level,the author briefly review available research of Fang Hui and his book,his poetry theory,“YingKuiLv Sui”and poetic criticism method in the foreword.The first chapter briefly introduces Fang Hui’s literature thoughts and the reception to Yan、Bao and Xie.The author lays more emphasis on the second and three chapters in this paper. The second chapter mainly discusses the poetics thought of Fang Hui. Fang Hui worships the perfect standard of poem not only in Vigorous style、diffuse nature but natural formation、intermingling of the feeling and scene.The third chapter discusses the way of how“Yan Bao Xie Poetry criticism of Wenxuan”.Fang Hui pays attention to history and authenticity of antiquity, praises “every word have a source” of Jiangxi poetry School, have a respect and approval attitude to the Literary Selections annotated by Li Shan, particularly preferred poem eye and “beautiful sentence”Epilogue is about deficiencies and biased of this article, then objective and dialectical to review Fang Hui’s gain and loss of commented on the poetry, certainly “Yan Bao Xie Poetry criticism”of Wenxuan value of literary criticism.
