With the cultural, economic and political interaction is deepened further between Japan and China. After that, the life of Japanese language has been changing greatly. Learning of Japanese is not taken as a pure subject to study any more. It has become an art or a tool through which Japanese people’s view of the world is better understood. Therefore, Japanese teaching should also keep pace with the times. Currently, it becomes a major project and difficult matter to explore new approach of Japanese teaching for the Japanese teachers.The value of life is diversified in modern society. With the importance of language communication is increased gradually. It is more crucial to be capable to solve problems, broaden horizon, understand and respect other country’s culture using foreign languages to some extent.Since the publication of CEFR in2003, the domestic language teaching researchers including the researchers of English, French and Chinese have done some research from many perspectives. Until2009, the research on CEFR is relatively few in the field of Japanese teaching. The Japan Foundation published The Standard of Japanese Education by the Japan Foundation, and brought forth the practical evaluation system of Japanese teaching named "Can-do"Based on CEFR, the center of Japanese language of the Japan Foundation brought forward the practical evaluation system (Can-do) after the systematical study. The evaluation system of the Japanese teaching is ranked6levels:A1, A2, B1, B2, C1and C2, which is advocated and supported strongly by the domestic Japanese Education field. The Japan Foundation have held the research conference many a time so far to popularize, publicize and explore the system among the teachers of Japanese teaching.According to the common program of CEFR and the present evaluation system of Japanese teaching by the Japan Foundation (JF can-do), the current elementary Japanese teaching approach needs to be reconsidered to handle the problems appeared in the process of Japanese teaching. With practical teaching taken into account, it is the present project of the teachers of Japanese teaching to find a guiding theory of teaching which fits in the present Japanese teaching and bring up a practical teaching plan on the basis of the theoretical study.A large number of teaching practices are necessary to prove the establishment and development of an evaluation system of teaching and its feasible research. In recent years, to conduct research, analysis and verification on the evaluation system of Japanese teaching, the Japan Foundation has been holding teaching research conference all over the world and inviting the Japanese educators worldwide to study in the Japan Foundation. With the combination of theoretical research and practical exploration, the study is mainly conducted through analysis of the practical case of Japanese teaching and teaching results. The findings are concluded after summarizing and concluding the test data and teaching materials in the center of the Japan Foundation.Although JF Standard of Japanese Education2010stated clearly that the Japan Foundation endeavored to prove the correctness of Can-do system whose responsibility of correctness and validity is due to each implementation itself. However, after a series of investigation, analysis and research, it is obvious that the evaluation system of can-do has a great advantage in enhancing the teaching efficiency in the process of Japanese teaching in the new era. Not only can we formulate teaching plan and teaching objective, but also can help conduct some surveys on the students’ inspiration of learning motivation under the direction of can-do system. Thus, in a sense, can-do system can meet the requirements of the current Japanese teaching.In some sense, the evaluation system of can-do is a complete, practical and feasible theory. The relevant terminologies concerning language teaching and language learning are defined and unified and the circumstances of Japanese language and teaching are described and analyzed systematically in the can-do system. It is a unified standard for reference which comprehensively covers the modern Japanese language teaching, mentions various situations of teaching and learning and solves the problems and difficulties encountered in teaching and learning on the spot. There is a tendency that can-do system is increasingly applied to Japanese teaching. The evaluation system of can-do is not a dogma for it does not totally employ particular linguistics or teaching methodologies while it encourages the users to establish the frame of Japanese language teaching and learning which can meet the practical needs by using the reference standard. Through the real teaching process, the practical feasibility is concluded, analyzed and proved and further research and development are conducted so that the research findings can be a sort of reference for the domestic Japanese teachers.
