Research PurposesTraditional Chinese culture after the thousand years of evolution, inheritance anddevelopment has its own faction, and occupies an important place in world culture.Formed its own unique cultural style and features: regional, inclusive, subtle, andharmony. In today’s ever-accelerating global economic, cultural integration process,the traditional culture because of its strong regional and national characteristics, havebeen more extensive attention. Various fields of art and design attaches greatimportance to the great regional and national character of the essence of traditionalculture with modern design concepts and forms of integration and reconstruction, andon this basis to establish the pattern of both unified and diversified culturalpersonality. This article explores how modern Poster Design for the carrier, thetraditional Chinese cultural elements with modern design concept, the traditional andmodern; explore the impact of traditional Chinese culture to the Poster design ideasand creative; what teaching means and methods of teaching in the two-phaseintegration. I hope enough attention to the teacher and students the process of teachingin colleges and universities design professional Chinese traditional culture, theChinese culture through poster advertising in the form of spread out, more people arefamiliar with and understand.Research MethodsThis thesis the use of documentary research, inductive study method,comparative study of France and France, the case study method and survey researchmethod and other methods and means. Among them, the survey method is set fromthe university poster advertising the status and curriculum aspects of traditionalChinese cultural elements start to analyze the root cause of the problem and propose amore specific and feasible improvements. By induction and analysis of traditionalcultural elements in the thesis process, to find out its aesthetics and aesthetic rules,and the manifestations of modern Poster Design combine to create new forms ofexpression. The literature study method is a combination of Poster educational theoryand literature study to explore China’s colleges and universities poster advertisingdesign education curriculum innovative ways. Analysis and research on specificPoster Design case, and further summarized and summed up the techniques andmethods of integration of elements of traditional culture and modern Poster Design. Inthis paper focus on the relations of elements of traditional culture and modern Poster Design from the perspective of teaching practices research, committed to come upwith a design teaching reform and development road with Chinese characteristics.This article is a methodological exploration.Creative ResultsTo equip students with the principles and materials of traditional Chinese culturecan be used for the poster advertising design, and its use. This teaching method allowsstudents to better absorb the essence of national culture, and then to sort out in thedesign of these essence, deconstruction, drawing and reconstruction, and to give areference and guidance on the practical significance of poster advertising design,which also of which the modern poster advertises design and graphic development ofa trend of teaching. The teaching of modern Poster Design, traditional culture as anew creative point and inspiration point, better and more fully express the personalityand philosophy works behind."Fawning" phenomenon exists for the advertisingindustry in China, want to further explore the topic of this paper is: what teachingmethods and methods of making the traditional Chinese cultural elements can achievebetter teaching results in the teaching of college advertising design, and will inheritand carry forward of traditional Chinese culture; traditional Chinese cultural symbolscloser to the life of modern people and modern aesthetic taste. Integration based onthe poster advertising and traditional culture in teaching and research, to develop aposter advertising teaching the road with Chinese characteristics.The period from September2009to December2011, the author of Hunan FirstNormal College four visual convey the practice of classroom teaching students todesign professional courses from the following aspects: awareness of the traditionalcultural elements with the connotation of the excavation the traditional culturalelements of deconstruction and re-organization and the traditional color for referenceand use, and have achieved certain results.Final conclusionsObtained through this study and demonstration: modern designs will integrationof traditional culture has never been able to put aside the traditional culture of theiroccurrence and development of the impact; traditional culture throughout a profoundimpact on the design culture. Because only the integration of traditional and modern,sense and reason, science and humanities, to make the poster design to the rich,confident and independent design of teaching reform and development of the road.
