A Research On Marriage Views Of The80’s One Child Generation In China

The family is a social cell and marriage is the basic way to build a family. Thesignificant transformation of the Social politics, economy, and culture will bringprofound changes to the concept of value. To use as a marriage field, thecontemporary people’s views on marriage and the stability of the marriage and familywill be inevitably influenced. The one child of the80’s was on the peak of marriageand birth who grew in social transformation period, their understanding about love,marriage and family and the reality of the marital status are impacting by diversifiedvalues. It takes on some new marriage phenomena and problems. Some of these newideas and bad tendency will produce some harm, which affects the marriage happinessand development of life of the1980s generation.On the basis of previous studies on the view of marriage of the1980s generations,this research analyzes their views of marriage from four aspects including marriage,family life, sexual concept and divorce opinion through questionnaires and interviews.Based on the requirements of Marxist views on marriage and family harmony, valueorientation and behavior contrary to ethics existing in their attitude towards marriagewill be adjusted and moral rules on marriage, which is helpful for the1980sgenerations to realize happy marriage and harmonious family, will try to beestablishedThe first part of the paper is an introduction, which reviews the relevantresearches and elaborates the basic ideas of this study. The second part illustrates thebasic concepts on marriage, view of marriage, morality and their relationships, whichlays the foundation for the arguments in latter chapters. The third part analyzes thebasic situations about the view of marriage of the1980s generations. The fourth partthoroughly analyzes the problems and their causes in the views of the1980sgenerations with collected data and relevant literatures. The fifth part proposes themoral principles and basic methods to adapt the view of marriage of the1980sgenerations. The sixth part summarizes the full text and explains the relationshipbetween establishing a correct view of marriage and stable family.
