" Linchuan Four Dreams",which include <The purple hairpin><PeonyPavilion><The Handan dream> and <A dream under the south bough>,are fourtraditional operas written by Tang Xianzu, together represent Tang Xianzu’sachievement in the drama artistic, make important sense in Chinese history oftraditional opera. However, these four works either in the text transmission or thestage transmission, there are serious unbalance phenomenon. Especially <The Handandream>and<A dream under the south bough>,there is serious contrast between itshighly achievement in both thought and art,and its lowly popularity to the audiences.The discussion about communication of <The Handan dream>and<A dream under thesouth bough>, will help to summarize the factors influencing broadcasting oftraditional operas, so as to guide, thinking about the reasons of weakness fortraditional operas broadcasting today, hope to be able to do something to improvetoday’s darma boardcasting.This paper statistics the situation of broadcasting for the two dreams, includingthe entires, the anthologies, the adaptation, and the performance broadcasting. And onthis basis, this paper works from the perspective of communication studies, combinedwith the5W theory in news boardcasting, taking two dream communicationbackground, communicator, communication content, communication carrier as thekey point, to analysis the positive factors during the broadcasting of the two dreams;through the comparison with <The purple hairpin> and <Peony Pavilion> about thebroadcasting content and audiences, try to grope for the negative factors during thespreading, as well as why does the broadcasting of <A dream under the south bough>seems even weaker.
