Will·Moral Will·Good Will

In thewest, the issue of will has been studied for a long time; The Will Theory actually hasgone through considerable changes, which evolved from that of ancient mysticism, therationalism in modern times, irrationalism and Marxist practical Will in recent times.Will itself is acted upon freedom as its premise, its action being good and evil,which is the integration of object and subject as well as life and nature. Moral Will isthe one that manifests in the moral activities, leading to goodness, and we shouldanalyze it from the standing point of strategies and practice, with goodness as its leadingdirection, it should be understood from its motives and final result. Kant’s theory ofWill is based on the absolute and unconditional goodness, which is part of moral will,absolutely altruistic, and therefore, a special case of moral Will, with its goal beinggood itself. From the angle of the integration of virtue, Will and stamina, we should notequate will to moral Will, as people’s moral quality is progressively enhancing in theprocess of development. Therefore, it’s essential to distinguish the three differentnotions, either on the point of the discussion on moral theories or on the moral practices.
