Study On The Relationship Between Impoverished Consumption And Ecology Consumption

Consumption is one of basic human activities. The consumption activity is one linkof material cycle in the economical operation and ecosystem. The real purpose ofconsumption is human development and its value rationality is based on providing thehuman with healthy living and free development. Consumption is human’s consumptionand the subject is the human. Human’s consumption and human’s essence are relatedwith each other. It is a creative activity.Human is consuming not only as a natural person, but consuming in some socialstructure, a social ideology and a consumption environment with typical value guidanceand position. It is possible that every society will form its basic attitude towardconsumption initiated by that era. Every nation and country will form differentconsumption ideas and theories because of different cultural history background.Nowadays, we live in an era with multiple consumption. Many kinds of consumptionideas and different form of consumption are doped mutually and exist simultaneously. Itis an indispensable question that how to treat the relations of each consumption. Theecology consumption is the need of the social sustainable development and is onetendency of future consumption. As a usual consumption in the society, theimpoverished consumption can be eliminated. These two kinds of consumption willexist side by side. The impoverished consumption is the condition that human needsdesire are deficient and not satisfied. It has fettered human freedom and restricted thesatisfaction of human need and desire, which makes human subjectivity not be releasedproperly. The ecology consumption is a kind of moderate consumption is a rationalchoice with high level. The impoverished consumption is related to social developmentand the ecology consumption is related to quality and efficiency of development.But for the moment, there is not any research about their relationship. The authorconcludes that it should not simply deny impoverished consumption and affirm ecologyconsumption. There should maintain some essential tension between two consumptions.The tension can make them achieve a dynamic balance through mutual conflict anddependency. During this balance, it both maintains vigor of social development and atthe same time realizes harmonious and sustainable development of the society.
