Italian composer Puccini is the most distinguished opera composer among the world in the end of 19th and early 20th century. Under the complicated and diversified social background, Puccini, insisted on creating, and audaciously innovated. By the keen insight, superb composition techniques, innovative art aesthetic, he had created a number of classical opera works. Puccini is adept at describing the little guy in real life, particularly at portraying women's inner emotional world by music, and so the opera emerged in a large number of outstanding soprano arias. Puccini's soprano arias are singing at all concerts at home and abroad, and they are also the important practicing sound repertoire in vocal learning. These arias are melodious, great lyrical, and with a strong stage power, but at the same time it has raised the high artistic requirements for the singers. In this paper, the author combines his own singing experience, from the writer's life and creative background, characteristics of opera, drama philosophy and characteristics of aria, analyzes Puccini's four representative soprano aria in detail. These four arias are"Covered with a soft curtain","I will come to you","For arts, for love"and"Masters, please listen to me"(by the chronological order operas created).Puccini's soprano aria is a shining pearl in the opera treasure. In this paper, the four chosen arias are the classics of Puccini's soprano arias, and thus have a strong research value. Through detailed, in-depth studies, the paper gives a more tridimensional expression of Puccini's soprano arias in front of the readers, makes the singers who sing Puccini's soprano arias more perfectly manage the repertoires, the vocal learners more clearly know the direction, but also the vocal music educator more accurately choose the teaching repertoires.
