Yan’an was the famous sacred place, cradle and furnace of the revolutionary. During anti-Japanese war,Yan’an was basic of the CPC central committee,guidance center of the mational anti-Japanese war and the country’s anti-Japanese base areas. There was a saying that is "Mother sent the children on the battlefield, his wife sent him to fight against Japan",in the revolutionary era, a large number of writers and artists coimg from everywhere gathered here, and actively engaged in the war of resistance against Japan. Here, art,as a war weapon, was used to publicity anti-Japanese national salvation advocate and to mobilize the masses to participate in the war of resistance struggle and had made an outstanding contribution to the cause of national liberation.Literary movement in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia region,which were same with other literary movement of the liberated areas, were carried out under the leadership of the CPC central committee headed by Mao Zedong. The Yan’an paper cutting was deeply rooted among the masses, and had a long history and deep folk basic. In the Yan’an war period that is a specific living environment,Yan’an art workers had a deeper contact with the Loess Plateau life,and Yan’an revolutionary writers and artists were deeply fascinated by the quaint and vigorous artistic charm of Yan’an paper cutting. Mao Zedong’s speech at the Yan’an forum on literature gave writers and artists the task that called on them to go deep into the masses and the fiery struggle.Then Unruh arts teachers and students go to rural areas,and the same time there were a large number of revolutionary writers and artists appearing headed by Jiang Feng, Ai Qing and Gu Yuan et,which began to go deep into local life for learning the Yan’an art paper-cutting,and repeated study and research, and actively ask for advice local rural paper-cutters and joint efforts with them and with innovative subject matter and content to create a new window grilles that show the agricultural production, labor and revolutionary fighters heroic anti-Japanese war theme, these grilles played a publicity and encourage role in promoting the innovation of the new paper cutting content and Yan’an paper cutting nationalization development.Article introduces the Yan’an paper-cut and national identity of Yan’an paper cutting in that time from three major aspects.The first part,from the humanities,history and the geographical environment in Yan’an,began to talk about the evolution of form and content in the special period of the war and explain the universality of the paper-cut in the social environment.The second part analysis the popularization’s influence to Yan’an paper-cut,and introduces development of paper-cut in trems of influence of revolutionary leader and artists and analysis positive role paper-cut played in the period of Anti-Japanese War combined with the representative figure and works.The third part analysis influence and significance of paper-cut to the folk art creation in alti-Japanese war period,such as cutting print, New Year paintings and so on.
