Study On The Relationship Of The Adolescent Parent-attachment, Parenting-style And Aggressivity

Aggressive is one of the unhealthy behavior in adolescent period, and it willinfluence on the individual personality. Adolescent violence will bring great harm toindividual, it may lead to conduct disorder even violent crime, if we don’t guide andcontrol them properly. The previous studies show that the formation of aggressivity isconnected with the parent-child attachment of individual. Moreover, parenting stylehave an important influence on individual’s aggressivity. Based on the previousstudies, the paper studies the characteristics and development tendency in gender,grade and others of adolescent’s aggressivity. At the same time, this study examinesthe relationship of parent-child attachment, parenting style and aggressivity.The study is conducted by the questionnaires, and the author picks up605studentsfrom three middle school in Shan Xi Baoji city to answer the questionnaires“IPPA”,”the Aggressivity of teenagers”,”EMBU”. And the study arrives at thefollowing conclusions:1. The overall aggressivity and its dimensions performance different in adolescent,and it was increased by the grade. In particular, first, compared with aggressivebehavior and aggressive cognition, aggressive mood has the strongest performance.Second, physical attack is the main aggressive behavior in adolescent, vindictive isthe main problem in aggressive cognition, and the most common aggressive mood isthe lack of self-control. Third, junior two students has the highest aggressive in juniorschool, senior two has the highest aggressive in senior school.2. The quality of parent-child attachment has a influence on the aggressivity, inparticular, the communication and trustful dimension has a remarkable negativecorrelation with aggressivity, and alienation dimension has a remarkable positivecorrelation with aggressivity.3. Different parenting style has suppression or potentiation affect on the aggressivity, in particular, the worm and understanding style has a suppression affecton the adolescent violent, but punishment, excessive interference and protect, refuseand deny have the potentiation affect on the adolescent violent. And predilectiondidn’t performance the remarkable correlation with the aggressivity.4. Parent-children attachment and parenting style has a remarkable forecast toadolescent aggressivity. In particular, trustful and alienation dimension hasremarkable forecast to aggressivity, and communication dimension didn’tperformance the remarkable forecast.5. Parent-children as the mediator didn’t performance the remarkable effection, butit could be the moderator.
