Need of people is an important category of Marxist philosophy it is a fundamental category of the historical materialism too.Need regarding as innate "inherent regulations "of people it is not merely the embodiment of the people’s natural instinct,it is the motive power of all mankind’s activities even more.The historical development of human society form in academic community has always been contend for "social three order"and "social five order".This paper illustrates the "social three order" in what sense than social five order more in line with the law of historical development, and the structure of human needs is to restrict the historical development form. So,need of people is of great importance to the forming and developing of history of human society.Meanwhile,the development of history of human society is the course of objective regularity and people’s subject with unified history the need of the person as the subject can only be included in the objective evolution of social history as the key element of social historical development,can’t determine finally the basic direction of social historical development,but need is also the development and change with the development of social history.
