The Research On Combination Of Classifiers And New Things Since1980’s

The rapid development of society have changed our concept and lifestylesince1980’s，this huge changes reflect on linguistic is that the description onnew things appeared.Classifier is one of the outstanding characters of Chineselanguage，This character is difficult for the Second Language Acquisition. Thisresearch is attending to find the combination between the nouns of new thingsand the classifiers. The nouns of new things are chosen from new wordsdictionaries, we use date base to know the frequency of usage. The nouns wereclassified into five characters by cognitive way：founctions,size,container orcarring things,treatment,amount.The integrated system of qualitative andquantitative analysis,linguistic analysis.conclusion of this research is：1.people’s cognition angle which containsfounctions,size,container or carring things,treatment,amount,determines thecombination between classifiers and new things.2.The phenomenon which oneclassifier collocated with many nouns based on the cognition of things alreadyexisting.3.If the cognitive character of new things changed,the classifiers willchange with it.4.On different context, the classifier will bedifference,eventhough combine with the same nouns.5.the generalization of aclassifier “个ge”.
