A Study On The Combination Of Proper Nouns And Common Nouns In Modern Chinese

This paper starts with the analysis of the semantic relationship between the combination of " proper nouns + common nouns " and "common nouns + proper nouns",discusses the semantic characteristics of centering,subject-predicate and apposition,explains the different structures of the same form combination,and explores the functions of the combination of " proper nouns + common nouns " and "common nouns+ proper nouns ",as well as the appearance of the structural auxiliary "de",The influence on the syntax and semantics of the structure.This paper discusses the types of ambiguity and the causes of ambiguity between the homographs of " proper nouns +common nouns " and "common nouns + proper nouns ".It holds that syntax,semantics and pragmatics are closely combined from three aspects,which influence and complement each other,to resolve an ambiguous structure.This paper focuses on the relationship between syntax and semantics of the two combinations of " proper nouns + common nouns " and "common nouns + proper nouns" in appositive structure.According to the semantic differences of the preceding nouns in the structure,the two combinations are classified into hyponyms.Similarly,this paper also explores the internal relations and functions of reference,semantic structure and implied predicate in combination,and finds that appositive structure is a compound semantic relationship of juxtaposition,declarative,and restrictive modification,which provides a basic restriction for the generation of structure,The expressive function of language also has a great influence on the formation of structure.
