The Application Of The Proportional Division In Poster Design

The special graphic is the visual expression language of the poster design. Severalof graphical languages have been used in different countries and different designs toexpress the design ideas, during the process of which, it has its own habits and logicwhile using the method and means. The form principle and rule that the designs have arethe necessary passive of restricting and introducing of the design mind. As to the posterdesign, its main task is to deal with the various information elements and make themeffective orchestrate tissue. The proportion and division are treated as the important linkto connect all the individual elements together in the poster design.As the vigorous development of design education in China, the research of thedesign theory is becoming further. From another perspective, the pursuit of the formbeauty of the human is affected by the impetuous design surroundings under the collisionof the economic, during which the application of basic design principles wasgradually neglected, and the simple design can be seen here and there. In order to changethe phenomenon of above, the importance of the proportional division in the posterdesign was proposed again in this paper, and the application of it was expressed mostlyfurther.The application of the proportional division in the poster design was studied withthe four parts in this paper as follows:Firstly, the analysis of the basic principle of the proportional division and it’scharacteristic. The conception of the proportional division was studied first, and theproportional division that exists in the nature, the human society, and the design lifewere studied combined with practice instance then. Several types of proportionaldivision principle were discovered and then were summarized, based on which thecharacteristics of proportional division and its composition were in-depth studied soas to understand the proportional division from the original. All above of which weretreated as the necessary scientific theoretical support to the development of the thesis.Secondly, study the change of the proportional division in the poster design as thetime went by. The methods of data summarizing and analogy were used here to find outthe change of the proportional division in the poster design development processing and the influence of it in the epoch-making poster design. The applications of theproportional division on the works of representative posters were studied by then.Thirdly, research the relation between the basic design elements and theproportional division layout in the poster design. The relationship between theposter design elements, layout and the proportional division was analyzed first. Theapplication of design elements and layout on how to run a space was studied by then. Itcomes to the reasonable process of the relationship between the modeling elements andthe proportional division at last, which will be the significance to the message thatthe layout conveyed.Fourthly, based on the study of the proportional division theory, then combine withthe personal special to practice the result of the research, study the practice application ofthe rational partition in design, so as to prove the theory value of the proportionaldivision in the poster design.Findlay, from the result of the research above, the proportional division value andaesthetic was re-interpreted. Then the new understanding and attention of theprinciples of scientific and design theory were evoked, so as to seek the original point ofthe design.
