Research On The Path Of Promoting Human’s Overall Development In Contemporary China

The problem of human development which is an old and often newly issue has animportant position in Marxism theory. Marx discussed detail the theory of human’soverall development, which contains real person is the logic starting point of humandevelopment, the internal regulation of human development, three stages of humandevelopment, and the path of realizing human overall development. These theoriesprovide the theoretical guidance for pushing human overall development in the socialistsociety. Although our country had realized economics’ rapid development andproductivity’ improving greatly since reform and opening up, but China who does nothave all conditions of realizing human overall development, is still in the primary stageof Socialist society. Meanwhile the human development is a difficult and endlessprocess of historical practice. In fact, Socialism which is as a practical activity is ahistorical process of promoting constantly human overall development. Under theguidance of Marx’ human overall development, combining with China’ special nationalconditions, this thesis attempts to analyze the gaining achievements and encounteringproblems of human development, and its causes since reform and opening up, and toreveal the thinking and path of continuing to promote human overall development.Accordingly, this thesis is divided into three parts: The first part elaborated the basiccontent of Max’ human overall development theory, which contains realistic human is thelogic starting of human development, the internal regulation of human development,three stages of human development, and the path of realizing human overall development.The second part elaborated the gaining achievements and encountering problems ofhuman development and its causes since reform and opening up. The gainingachievements of human development since reform and opening up which theimprovement and development of human’s ability; the development and richness ofhuman’s social relations; the progression of human’s need level and the richness ofhuman’s need content; the full publicity of human’s personality. The meeting problemscontain four sides: the division of the unreasonable society has restricted the fullcombination of human’s intelligence and physical strength; the alienation phenomenon exists still; people’need has not be satisfied fully and comprehensively; the developmentof human’s personality is still limited. The reason of the meeting problems contains: theoverall level of social productivity is lower and unbalanced; the overall level of socialeducational is not high; the various systems of the society is still inadequate and perfect.The third part investigated the thinking and path of continuing to promote human’ overalldevelopment. This theory investigated from four parts: the overall thinking of promotinghuman overall development; developing vigorously the productivity which providesmaterial conditions for human overall development; enriching and developing human’ssocial relations; developing vigorously the educational caree of science and culture,improving human’s intelligence level and quality constantly; displaying human’ssubjective imitative to promote the development of human’s personality.
