The Utopia Of Freedom Of Literature: The Writing In The Era Of Network

With the rapid development of Internet technology, the network and the literaturehaving attributes of freedom go to coincide together, the network literature is theproduction of the two. In the network literature, the hierarchy of traditional literatureis overturned. The cultural elite status of traditional writers and critics aredeconstructed due to network literary, which reflects literature writing, appreciationand exchange are equality and democracy in the network times. The slogan of"everyone can be the writer" arouses creation enthusiasm of netizens, breaking thebarriers between popular literature and elite literature, and making literature return tofolk in some extent.Along with the popularization of the network literature, the network literaturehas gradually exposed some flaws. The academic has always been debating theproblem of supporting or against about network literature. This paper dose not discussthat problem, but through the essence of literature--the spirit of freedom, points outthe loss of spirit of freedom of network literature, and puts forward some feasiblemeasures to make the network literature to get a real freedom.This thesis is divided into four chapters besides the preface and epilogue part.The first chapter gives an overview of the variation of literature and the rising ofnetwork literature in the Internet age. With the rapid popularization of the Internet,network provides a new creative form for literature. Network literature is required inthe times, which builds a free, democratic Utopia for writers, provides a spirit territory,and becomes a popular word.The second chapter introduces that the freedom is provided for literature bynetwork, which is reflected in four parts that are the creation, communication,acceptance and exchanges. Network literature with its special carrier makes thefreedom to become its important features. The freedom is the greatest temptation forpeople. The third chapter points out that the spirit of freedom is the essence of literatureby describing the development of human spirit of freedom. The spirit is needed whenpeople are writing.The fourth chapter describes the dilemma of the freedom of network literatureand the problem on the aspects of content, quality, theme and commercial in the era ofnetwork. Puts forward the urgency and necessity of constructing the values ofliterature, the “freedom” and the “limitation” must be existence in the networkliterature from the angle of dialectical thinking and guides the network literature bythe freedom spirit of literature, laws and so on.
