Shanhaiguan native of mostly locals andforeign residents of the ancient city of Shanhaiguan has a certain appeal. City higheducational level of residents, mostly in the tertiary level the following, mostly in junior highschool level. Low levels of household income. Residents of their own in relation to tourismhave some knowledge, but do not feel their dependence, to a certain extent, can be seen on thegovernment to develop tourism income or no significant impact on residents of thisperception is not obvious. The development of city residents in generalsupportive.Development of the city’s ancient heritage of specific restoration projects and apositive attitude rather than a negative attitude. Of the "resettlement" neutral majority, positive attitude of residents to hold negative attitudes than the residents. The "infrastructure"positive attitude accounted for half of the total population. In the perception of tourism impactin that city development to increase our revenue, but to increase awareness of employmentopportunities not obvious, the rising prices and land prices are not satisfied with the attitudehold. Shanhaiguan city’s traditional culture that are protected, but not significantly raise thelevel of life perception, the negative social impact on the perception of the other there is noobvious sense. Residents of this research hasnot proven demographic factors and attitudes of residents of a significant correlation, but does not explain the people’s demographic characteristics have no effect on the attitude of theresidents. City residents andthe daily management of city infrastructure more attention and care, a number of minorchanges made comments and suggestions. The improvement of the residents the importanceof tourism attractions, hotel management, convenient and smooth transportation, publicfacilities, convenience, reasonable prices and considerate services. Reflects the city residentseager to participate in the development, management, attention to the ancient city, hopes tomake their own views attitude. For survey results, this paper put forward the exploration should be made residenteducation and training, to encourage public participation, stakeholder contract developmentand monitoring and evaluation of countermeasures.
