With the growing standards of living, not only the demands of material culture, buteducation standards and requirements are elevating. This dissertation focuses on thisphenomenon, document analysis, combination of site visits and survey methods for informationcollection and analysis based on data derived from studies. This monograph first discussed themarket development in the early stage of children’s picture books in Chin from a macro scope.This article is based on existing theories and findings, a comprehensive analysis of inductivepsychological characteristics of children of all infant age, including cognitive characteristics,characteristics of language expression, emotion and painting features, as well as their preferencefor color and shape. Combined with market research results and relevant case studies, thisdissertation described picture books for children of all ages in visual form--difference in graphicdesign, story settings, color, characters and scene, which revealed the current situation anddevelopment of the marketing problems in Chinese children’s picture books, and madeconstructive comments on the conclusion of relevant issues. Finally, the dissertation comes tothe following conclusions: Firstly,0-3-year old children compared with children aged3-6needmore refined binding, briefer story, more prominent language rhythm, brighter colors, moreconcise picture books form regarding the set of characters and scenes. Secondly, picture booksshould be consistent with the reading habits of children in order to trigger their understanding onthe story through pictures. Thirdly, Chinese education system needs to understand theoutstanding and original children’s picture books of great significance to the development ofeducation. Finally, there are numerous issues which should be noted on the development of theoriginal children’s picture books, such as the story should be straightforward, lively andinteresting, the price should be affordable, the picture should be bright and entertaining enough,and characters should be more recognizable and so forth.
