The start publication of Floral Wilderness is the first Mongolianliterature periodical which was established in January1955since thefounding of new China. During the half century, insisting on the principlethat art is serving the people, it is also the concentrated reflection ofMongolian living state and gradually updates their views. It plays animportant role in the prosperity and development of the contemporaryMongolian literature which has made significant contributions in it.Based on the fictional creations which published in FloralWilderness from2000to2010. This thesis systematically investigates thetheme, character images and the artistic techniques in novel by applyingthe sociohistorical method of critique and criticism methods of science ofculture. It aims to tackle and outline the development vein of the fictionalcreation to embody the development status and law of mongolism novelsin the modern era on the basis of novel research in Floral Wilderness. Thethesis consists of five parts. The introductory part will offer you thepublication of Floral Wilderness and discuss the research status of it andthe significance which cater influences to the mongolian literature. Thefirst chapter of the thesis mainly studies the themes of ecology, love andculture reflected in Floral Wilderness. The character images corresponding to the theme, namely the images of the protectors anddestroyers of the ecology, images of pursuers and losers in love and theimages of defenders and trampers of ethnic culture etc. will be describedin chapter two. Chapter three analyses the artistic techniques used in theinnovative creation, such as environmental description, languageapplication and so on. The concluding chapter of the thesis, that isconclusive, sums up the problems and insufficiency existed in FloralWilderness and make an objective assessment on its functions and valueof the process of cultural development.The thesis analyses and deeply investigates the footprints of themongolism literature by some of the novels published in FloralWilderness in the latest era. It is also the key point to interpret the studyand the writing rules of novel published in Floral Wilderness from2000to2010by the research of the mongolism authors and their novels.Although this seems beyond my knowledge and capacity, it is seldom fora thesis to reflect the general laws by the novels selected from theliterature periodical. Because of this, the author of this thesis just hopesthat this overall research will become a part of the study of FloralWilderness.
