The paper is written on the base of that,taking Yunjian of thesouthern area of Shandong as the research object, focusing on the nature subject of " skill offolk Yunjian" to analyse, using the method of field survey of Liangquan village of Yiwentown in Yinan to interview the craftsmen who were interviewed and had a practice,andrecording the process of representative Yunjian ’ s making with the help of the camera.Thepoint is to arouse the identity of folk art,the traditional making skills with local characteristicsand national features can be inherited and spread permanently.The paper, based on the results of predecessors’ research and the Archaeological,hada deep detailing on the origin, development,styles of Yunjian, clearing it came from thefairy’s neck decoration for the sake of beauty or blessing, then it treated as the indispensableetiquette garment accessories of ancient Chinese women.Its shape which originated in squareRuyi style then developed many styles in later period,contains rich folk thought. Analysis theregional features,deep implication of the folk culture in the middle and lower Yellow Riverthrough inducting lots of physical remains in the Folk Costume Studio of Jiangnan university.The folk Yunjian, was made by traditional manual way,and revealed abundant manualskills during the production. It helps to get more recognization of the folk Yunjian on theskills,shape, color and the development through the interviewing to the craftsmen in manytimes visits to Yinan. Then recorded the all processes including preparing, sewing andarrange.Sum up the making skills and analyse the intrinsic aesthetic art.Finally, Based on the analysing of skills through visiting and investigation of folkYunjian. It learned that the art of Yunjian will be influent the modern design. And there alsohas a further explore which the skills such as embroidery,inserting, rolling, pasting, patchingand the pattern, form be used in modern fashion design. Through above it learned thatYunjian must be protected facing with disappearing through the analysis of the presentsituation.
