Folk song is an important part of folk literature, folk songs of various nationalities have obvious regional and national character, the expression of content and form of expression, diction, tunes, metrical and other characteristics are unique, particular, the characteristics of it has a catchy, easy to understand, easy to spread and other, occupy a certain position in the cultural exchanges.In the process of translation in the folk song, not only to take into account the general characteristics of it as a literary work, and need to be translated to the taste of the song. Therefore the translation will encounter many difficulties. This paper is based on translation theory and practice, attempts to explore better ways for the folk song translation.The first chapter of this paper is divided into two sections. First, briefly introduces the origin and development of the culture of the Tibetan translation-introduced how the Tibetan translation culture become popular initially, during the times which ZAP ascended the throne, the translation has been greater development and achieved outstanding results, presented the founders in the history of the Tibetan translation. Presented the origin and classification of the Tibetan folk songs. The second chapter is the focus of this article, combined with the characteristics of Tibetan folk songs, mainly discussed the translation and the key points of the folk songs translated in specific practice. This chapter is divided into four sections to discuss, the contents, Manifestations, the wording and Rhythm of the folk songs. The main ideas are:1. Understanding of the original content is a prerequisite of the translation, folk seemingly easy to understand, but it includes all areas of life of the Tibetan society, the content is extremely rich. The meaning of folk songs is not only the literal meaning but also profound cultural connotations. So to understand the significance of the folk song is not easy, the translator must not only proficient in both languages should also be familiar with the Tibetan folk culture, has a wealth of experience in folk life.2. Because of the folk song is a kind of folk art form of expression, the expression of inner thought and think is through the various manifestations of the language arts. In the process of translation, it should be translated to the original art form, to benefit the readers of the translation to understand the original form of artistic expression. But sometimes there will be the Cultural vacancies between the two cultures, it can not be translate exactly like the original form of artistic expression. Then the rigid translation is not as good as the translation of in accordance with the appropriate use of the context used in the Chinese art form. This will not only meet the aesthetic habits of the reader, and the tunes will be more melodious.3. Folk songs are for the majority of people of different cultural levels. Therefore, the folk songs are using everyday language to make it easy to understand. And during the translation, we should avoid using the Buddhist terms, the ancient words, rhetoric, and rare words. Folk songs mostly show like Jiwen form, It will omit unnecessary the Pan words and function words. Translator should pay attention to its language should be compact, and the length of the sentence should be easy to praise.4. The undulating rhythm has caused one of the important distinctions between folk songs and other folk literature. Therefore, in the process of translation, translater should by using the syllable, the praise of the word, pause to make the text catchy, easy to praise, touching sweet.Finally, according to the characteristics of the folk song, the paper summed up the points should be noted that in the course of practice of translation and the Countermeasures of the translation.
