I think “Yu-dao” is the important thought of the side of the book of “Lao-tzu”.“Thestupid” is the image and the understanding of the Tao.“The stupid” contains much profoundwisdom, raising it as a kind of methodology---“Yu-dao”. It constitutes the core content ofthis paper. From the ethical perspective, we can handle into the world of work with bornattitude actively to reach the highest realm of detached. This realm is composed of the truth,the well and the beauty. The truth is the meaning of the honesty and naivety like baby. Thewell is for everything, this is moral well.(The forty-ninth chapter); The beauty is the naturallyinseparable with the “Truth”. Lao-tzu “refused to be involve of the wisdom and give up thedebate”(The nineteenth chapter, a bamboo slip)、“little Selfish and Desire”(The nineteenthchapter, a bamboo slip)、“Tao follows nature”(The twenty-fifth chapter, a bamboo slip), forthe truth、the well and the beauty together. This reflect of the highest level of Lao-tzu’s “lovesolemn, remain the independent”(The twenty-fifth chapter, a bamboo slip). The thought ofLao-tzu, just like “Road to Road are Road”(The first chapter, the current version), is difficultto Grasp, so we need to read carefully. As a whole, this article is divided into the followingfour parts:The first part, the sages interpreting the connotation of the “stupid” of “Lao-tzu” need tobe sorted, generate the view from “stupid man” and “not stupid man”.The second part, analysis the current situation that Lao-tzu was in and the wisdom thatLao-tzu owned, analysis the background of “Yu-dao”.The third part, from the rthical perspective,“Yu-dao” of Lao-tzu is generalize three level,as “refused to be involve of the wisdom and give up the debate”、“little Selfish and Desire”、“Tao follows nature”, and prove them.The conclusion part, generalize expression and purpose of the thought of “Yu-dao”.
