Empirical Research On The Connotation Of Wisdom

After half a century of development,wisdom psychology has achieved reliable results in many aspects.However,most previous researches are based on classical scales or rescales compiled by subsequent researchers,so there is great place for expansion in research tools.At the same time,with the development of the Internet,AI and big data,more and more unstructured data,such as text,begin to enter the views of researchers in various fields.The purpose of this study is to explore a new research approach and perspective of wisdom psychology through the self-programmed analysis of Chinese subjects' text information on wisdom connotation.The overall research process is to establish a thesaurus of wisdom,design cross sectional research and longitudinal research on the basis of thesaurus and program,and discuss the connotation of wisdom and the relationship between wisdom and other factors.Study I(the establishment of the thesaurus of wisdom connotation)aims to preliminarily explore the public's relatively specific cognition of the abstract concept of wisdom,and to collect related words associated with the word "wisdom" by means of free association of words,as well as other basic demographic variables.In the end,through the network platform to collect 504 valid questionnaires,and the researchers designed the R program analysis,the results show that the public's interpretation of "wisdom" is focused on the "smart","learning","brain","intelligence","knowledge" and other words,through the combination of synonyms and vocabulary network analysis,found that public's wisdom concept focuses on five dimensions: intelligence factors,wise behavior and thing,wise men,non-intelligence factors and group common factors.The purpose of study ?(cross-sectional study)is to measure the wise performance by using the wisdom thesaurus formed in study I.The basic logic is to extract the words related to "wisdom" from the text data of the subjects and to retrieve and match them with the existing thesaurus.The number of words successfully matched is analyzed as the final measurement index.Using the classic Berlin wisdom paradigm,experiment 1 requires 60 subjects to answer the concept of wisdom and specific practical problems that need to be solved by using wisdom through oral report.In experiment 2,60 subjects were required to be divided into the first-person perspective group and the third-person perspective group when they gave oral answers to practical problems.The results of the two experiments showed that the dimensionality distribution of the words related to wisdom activated by the subjects in answering the concept of wisdom and solving specific problems was different.When solving specific problems based on different personal perspectives,the number of matches of words related to non-intelligence factors in the first-person group was significantly higher than that of the third-person group,while the number of matches of words related to intelligence factors in the thirdperson group was significantly higher than that of the first-person group.Study ?(longitudinal study)aims to examine whether reflecting on wisdom events can improve the number of matches of participants' wisdom-related words.20 subjects were recruited and randomly divided into two groups(the reflective group and the control group)for three diary tracking studies.The results showed that reflective wisdom events could effectively improve the number of matching words related to wisdom of the subjects,indicating that the subjects had a deeper understanding of "wisdom" after reflecting on wisdom events.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Text data can be used for the research and analysis of wisdom psychology.(2)There are obvious semantic dimension differences in the words related to wisdom activated by individuals when they expound the concept of wisdom and use wisdom to solve problems.In the process of problem solving,subjects show different wisdom concepts based on different personal perspectives.(3)Reflection on wisdom events can promote individuals to have a more profound understanding and interpretation of wisdom,thus contributing to the improvement of individuals' wisdom performance.
