Franz Liszt. Among the nineteen pieces of Hungarian Rhapsody, the second one is themost famous and representative. In the second piece, Liszt used a lot of gypsy nationalmusical instruments. Although the gypsy modes weren’t be used integrally, the effect ofgypsy music to him still can be seen. Both in the rhythm and music style all represent thecharacteristics of gypsy national music. We also can see some Hungary music styles in hisworks, but after the later musical researchers’ studies, it turned out that the HungarianRhapsody was Gypsy national music rather than Hungary national music. This articlebriefly introduces the characteristics of Franz Liszt’s creation and the introduction ofcreation of the second piece of Hungary Rhapsody, and so on. And make some analyzes ofthe national style, structure of music, mode, concord, performance, technological processand some other parts of the music. Additionally compared some foreign musical artists’performances on the second piece of Hungary Rhapsody, and studying their differences onthe styles and ways of performance. Through the compare of more than ten pieces of audioeditions and the artists’ performance, I get tremendous enlightenments and thinking tounderstand the second piece of Hungary Rhapsody better. At the same time to let moreperformers to know the different audio effects and editions of the second piece of HungaryRhapsody.
