The Design And Research Of Guiding Sign System In Marshal Zhang’s Mansion

The project focuses on study the sign in Marshal Zhang’s Mansion which is the residenceof Zhang Zuolin and Zhang Xueliang. It needs to pay more attention in designing its sign, forit is different from other scenic. It is a museum with abundant historical significance.The article starts with studying the conception of sign and the present circumstances ofthe sign in Marshal Zhang’s Mansion, analyzes how to improve the sign system. So it candesign the sign according to the improvement methods. The designing includes form, color,material quality, dimension, location, etc. Meanwhile we detail the design proposal and makea set of standard sign designing system to guide the design.The project integrates theory with practice. We investigate the circumstance of MarshalZhang’s Mansion and make questionnaire to its tourists in order to analyze and summarize thedemand and expectation of different kinds of people. In this way, we can determine the designelements of the mansion’s sign so as to do the elaborate design. We aim to design a rationalroute for tourists and make them know Marshal Zhang’s Mansion better. Only in this way candesign plays its role. However, the sign is designed less prominent so as not to impact thewhole situation when consider the mansion’s historical significance. In conclusion, the designof the sign in Marshal Zhang’s Mansion is strive to recognize conveniently and enhance visitefficiency. It permeates with historical-cultural and makes the tourists a good visitenvironment.
