The Manifestations of answer beside the point phenomenon is the study objectof advanced Chinese teaching,we can get good pragmatic effect by this languagebehavior. this phenomenon exist in Chinese communicate and also in other language,it is a phenomenon that can promote the effect of communicate, exert the disciplineof language and the background of language, this kind of communicate make thecommunicate process appropriateness.This passage mainly research on the answer beside the point phenomenon andthis passage divide the answer of answer beside the point phenomenon into twokinds: it was non-doubt point answer and non-associated point and the whole answer,and introduce them in details. The chapter3analyze the relationship between answerbeside the point and cooperation principle and courtesy principle. The relationshipof them is depicted by the discussion between answer beside the point and the fourcriterion of the cooperation principle. And then get to know the reason of theanswer beside the point, and the intensive artistic effect that produced by agree orvoilate the cooperation principle.
