Double Causal Theory Of Abhidharmakosa-sastra

Causal theory is the basis and foundation of the entire theoretical system ofthe Buddhist, and it is the basic principle of everything’s birth and death changesin the world, the entire Dharma can not be separated from the word "cause andeffect". The union of causes and conditions give birth to fruit, What cause givebirth to what kind of fruit. Causes and conditions, the causes is the reason, it’sfunction is giving birth, the conditions’ function is cultivation. Thus missed theconditions everything is not born; missed the causes everything is not born too.Therefore, all the things are not alone grow up, but because of the union ofcauses and conditions.The Abhidharmakosa-sastra don’t depart from the causal and effect, it’s aimis to make people to observe the Four Noble Truths causal, and to realize theprinciple of the causal theory, extinguishing worries, thus to reach Nirvana atlast. Universe dharmas give birth to fruit are in the role of Karma, the six kindsof causes is the fruits’ reason, due to it is the direct cause, and the four kinds ofconditions is the external conditions. The union of causes and conditions, fruitarises.Since the time of beginningless, all sentient beings of the world are in theBirths and Deaths circulation’s causal chain transfer. Nagarjuna in "Dazhidulun"says causes and conditions give birth everything, so talk about causes andconditions, and everything die out by the function of causes and conditions, soBuddha say so. Up to Buddha get Buddha-fruit, down to the sentient beings fallinto three evil destinies, are not be separated from cause and effect. Therefore,everything in the universe is in causal circulation, all things’ birth are due tocauses and conditions, and all things’ death also are due to causes and conditions.All sentient beings in Births and Deaths circulation are suffering, all thedifference in the world and all the bitter fruit have causes and conditions, theyare induced by karma, karma caused by afflictions. Karma is the bitter fruit’sreason, afflictions are conditions, the union of causes and conditions give birththe world. Therefore, all sentient beings in the world are based on the form of affliction, karma, bitter and then flow among five destinies of Births and Deathscirculation.For all sentient beings, the form of affliction, karma, bitter circulate basedon the the Twelve limbs of Dependent Origination’s relationship to expand,based on the form of three times twofold causal to achieve its karma’sretribution.Due to the ignorance is afflictions’ fundamental, is the root of all suffering.Therefore, only to completely extinguish ignorance, extinguish hindrances dueto affliction and hindrances due to knowledge, the rest of the eleven limbs ofDependent Origination will be exterminated together; only to completelyextinguish ignorance, sentient beings can break away from the causal chain ofaffliction, karma, bitter, and jump out of the five destinies of Births and Deathscirculation, therefore ultimately actualize Nirvana.Only to practice three undefiled practices, can extinguish ignoranceafflictions and actualize Nirvana, by commandment arising concentration, byconcentration arising wisdom, by wisdom arising practices, therefore actualizecommandment, concentration and wisdom. Commandment, concentration and wisdom can counteractive agent sentient beings’ covetousness, hatred anddelusion three poisons. Commandment can subdue covetousness, extinguishafflictions, so as to prevent the occurrence of evil; concentration can subduehatred, extinguish contemplation and improper thought, calm down the heart,not climbing the outside environment, so sentient beings can achieve the peaceof mind; wisdom can subdue stupidity, get rid of confused, and then actualizethe true meaning. Only to practice three undefiled practices, get surpassinglywisdom,can extinguish ignorance afflictions, out of Births and Deathscirculation, and finally achieve Nirvana, where to enter the saint.
