Address terms is one of the basic vocabulary of language system, address termsis often the first sentence in daily communication. Kinship relative terms is one part ofthe address terms, it is used between people with non-relatives, it exists in a fewlanguages, Chinese language is one of them.China such an ancient country with five thousand years civilization, to advocateindefinitely, patriarchal clan system and etiquette culture in the kinship address termsused in the ancient roots. Chinese fictive kinship address terms are used in dailycommunication frequently. It is very important if a communication can be success andmake a good first impression, proper use of fictive kinship address terms is a goodbeginning of communication.As a second language, if Chinese learners want to complete communication andachieve the purpose of communication, then one must be used kinship address termsreasonable, Chinese kinship address terms of fair use is the basic ability, it is also asymbols of Chinese level. Therefore, in daily work, study and life, to be a nativemandarin speaker and accepted by Chinese society, skillfully use Chinese fictivekinship address terms is a necessary ability. The basic purpose of second languageteaching and foreign language teaching is to cultivate the students’ ability of languagecommunication.This paper,use for predecessors’ point of view, from the perspective of teachingChinese as a foreign language, combined with the linguistic culturology, sociallinguistics, pragmatics and other related knowledge, explain the type, cause,mechanism, characteristics, of Chinese fictive kinship address terms, focus in theform and pragmatic function of modern Chinese fictive kinship address terms, and make the system of fictive kinship address terms clearly presented, finally give theteaching advice from the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, forthe future of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and use to provide somereference basis, making teachers in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language tostudents of modern Chinese fictive kinship address terms has a complete and clearunderstanding and the ability to properly apply to the daily study, work and life.
