Chinese kinship terms connected with the inherent relation among relatives, but alsocarries the Chinese traditional culture. For foreign students, correct understanding, selectingand using kinship terms means not only the Chinese ability to improve significantly, and itmeans that the Chinese culture for a deeper understanding of. For a long time, kinship has beenteaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language difficulties, and the related research is weak.Teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the field of modern kinship terms in Chineseteaching for kinship theory provides a new platform, but also for the students of modernChinese kinship address learning provides a certain degree of help.In this paper, the character-based Chunk Theory under the guidance of the theory,integrated the results of previous studies, the modern Chinese kinship terminology system wereanalyzed, and as a basis, put forward the corresponding countermeasures of teaching Chineseas a foreign language, and hope to be able to improve the teaching of Chinese as a foreignlanguage.The full text divides into six chapters:The first chapter mainly introduces the background, research significance, the relatedresearch, this paper also includes the process used in the study of the theory and researchmethod. This paper aims to outline the academic value. And this paper addresses the importantterms to explain.The second chapter of Chunk Theory projected by the appellation area, discusses theappellation of relatives of chunking, and put forward the character-based teaching idea.The third chapter through to the modern Chinese kinship terms are analyzed, and thelanguage characteristics, and carries on the language block classification, the kinship terms ofchunk categories clear.The fourth chapter discusses the modern Chinese kinship terms in the special chunk" big+kinship", this paper discusses the structural specificity of location, and chunks of " specialperception are also presented.The fifth chapter from the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, for themodern kinship terms in Chinese teaching and puts forward some corresponding teachingmethods, to break through the traditional teaching mode, using the" primacy of characters" approach to organization of teaching Chinese as a foreign language activities.The sixth chapter is the conclusion to the full text of the study in order to sum up, and putforward the innovation and inadequacy, at the same time on this topic continues to hope.
