The Artistic Function Of Film Music And The Realization Of Aesthetic Values

As the film market becoming prosperous gradually, the film music cause people’sattention gradually, however, the study of film music most of the time appeared in themarketing field, music performing field and so on, and the study of the function andthe aesthetic value of the film music from an aesthetic point of view is less.This dissertation first summarizes the development course and historical reasonsof the film music. Secondly, based on previous studies, through a large number ofexamples, this dissertation classifies the film music and analyzes the artistic functionof film music. Then, from the point of view of music aesthetics, the natural aestheticattribute of the film music is analyzed; from the point of view of the creation subjectand appreciate subject, the precondition, process and result of the realization of thefilm music aesthetic value are analyzed with the method of aesthetic psychology.Finally, according to current situation, the deduction of the development trend of thefilm music is made through the relevant example examples，and the real value of thefilm music is summarized.The research content of this dissertation involves psychology, musicology, filmstudies, aesthetics, and other subjects, methods of literature, case analysis andcross-study are used in this dissertation with the purpose of analyzing the aestheticvalue and function of the film music and highlight its status and role in order to servethe public and film.
