Through carefullyanalysis, the author found out that Chinese listening comprehension is one of the importantparts which decide the quality of the interpreting output. However, few interpreter payattention to this factor. This thesis offers a brand new perspective for interpreters to makeprogress in Chinese-English consecutive interpreting.
