Oirngin Of " Jiugong Zhengshi"

The book of Jiugong Zhengshi plays an important role in the history of the southernDrama Nanxi.Since discovered in1930s,it had had great influence on academic field.Theso-called Tang Pu and Yuan Pu in the book made the vague history of southern Drama Nanximuch vaguer. The aim of this paper is to look into the origin of Jiugong Zhengshi so thatpeople can have a better command of the road how southern Drama Nanxi formed anddeveloped.Some of the Qudiaos which were contained in Tang Pu were not created in TangDynasty,some of which were even produced after Song Dynasty.In addition,it was neither aport of the book Yuefu Hunchengji.Combined with the prologue of Jiugong Zhengshi,We canconclude that the book Tang Pu is the one that was complied by Niu Shaoya some years ago.For Yuan Pu,the system of Gong diao in it was formed in the early MingDynasty.And,the dramas of Pi Pa,Xi xiang and Killing the Dog which were quoted in it werealos created in the time form the late Yuan Dynasty to Ming Dynasty.Obviously,Yuan Pu wasa Qupu created in Ming Dynasty,which is the same as the manuscript of XuYushi.Consequently,it is safe to conclude that Yuan Pu was created by Xu Yushi in MingDynasty.Jiugong Zhengshi did not approve to record the rules of Qu Pai according to the books ofthe Ming Dynasty,but to record them according to the books before, so it had adaptedsomething in both Qu Pai and Liqu aspects.What’s more,Jiugong Zhengshi studied thebelonging and names of Qu Pai further,standardize Ji qu and replaced the Li qu of Nan quQuan pu,respectively,according to the ancient books and reliable text of Nan xi,based onwhich,it also expanded the content.Compared with the ancient Qu pu, Jiugong Zhengshi had added168new Qu Pai,some ofwhich were old while some were new.They reflected the Vanishing and appearing of Qu Paiin the history of the southern Drama Nanxi.
