| In the context of economic globalization，political multi-polarization, science andtechnology high-tech, information network, with the continuous improvement ofpeople’s material standard of living, people’s spiritual and cultural needs are alsogrowing. It prompted the diversification of forms of society, lifestyle and employmentsituation. And it made significant changes in people’s values, state of mind, attitudesand behavior. These significant changes enhanced sense of autonomy, competitivenessand innovative spirit of youth stage university students. But it also can not avoid thenegative tendencies of utilitarianism, individualism, hedonism and money worshipbreeding. A new lifestyle and new attitude to life is produced, that is student Otaku.The appear of Otaku shows college students’ interest and motivation ostensibly, and itplagued the life and psychology of college students actually.This article takes student Otaku as object of study. On the basis of combing therelated literature, made student Otaku questionnaire. Combining Symptom checklistSCL90analyzed the characteristics of behavioral and psychological activity in depth.Summarized the psychological causes of Otaku through interview study.The Results:(1) In1008Subjects,76.4%of the students have heard of Otaku,67.3%of thestudents think there are Otaku boys and girls in their dormitory,31.7%of the studentsfeel they are Otaku themselves.(2)62.3%of college students would choose to be Otaku in dormitory to spend10%-50%of their spare time. As to how long time they will stay in dormitory,74.6%of the students will stay for less than2days.(3) Otaku is divided into light Otaku group, semi-Otaku group, and deep Otakugroup. There are18.1%,14.9%and3.3%of them respectively.(4) Light Otaku group compared with semi-Otaku group has no significantdifferences. But they are both significantly different with deep Otaku group.(5) There are no significant differences in gender between the three groups. LightOtaku group and semi-Otaku group are not significantly different in grade, but deepOtaku group is.(6) On the aspect of psychological characteristics, deep Otaku group has75.7%of negative emotion, while this value in the light Otaku group and semi-Otaku groupdecreases to20.3%and44.8%. There are significant differences in negative emotion between the three groups.(7) Compared with the national youth, the mental health level of deep Otaku,semi-Otaku and light Otaku group is apparently low.(8) Compared with ordinary students and the non Otaku students of this survey,the mental health status of deep Otaku students are generally poor. The mental healthstatus of semi-Otaku students has no significant difference. The mental health statusof light Otaku students are generally good.(9) On the investigation of the reason of Otaku most of the students are Otaku,because they bear the psychological pressure is too large, lack of plans and goals, tosatisfy personal interest, conformity, don’t like to communicate with people, lifestyleand other convenient.Finally, according to the author’s findings, I believe that the school should payfull attention to the students’ Otaku phenomenon, and respect for the Otaku students’psychological demands, advocating Otaku life to participate in extracurricular studentactivities, to encourage Otaku promote the organization sense of belonging, and helpOtaku students improve interpersonal skills, to strengthen education measures toguide college students "Otaku" phenomenon. |
