The Phonetic Study Of Jinzhou Dialect

Jinzhou City is located in the southwest of Liaoning Province, where is the connectionof the northeast region and North China region. The dialect of Jinzhou belongs to thenortheast mandarin. But the study of northeast dialect is little, and the material of thespecial study for the pronunciation of Jinzhou is much less. To describe the Dialect ofJinzhou in detail, I choose the dialect of Jinzhou counties and Huludao Area, Panjin area,where the dialects are similar. I do deeply comparison and research about Jinzhou Dialect,and propose my own view, which is based on the field survey, diachronic and synchroniccomparison, the comparison of the static and dynamic methods.The full thesis is divided into six parts totally:The first chapter is the introduction part which shows us the geography, thepopulation, history origin and language usage. It also introduces the studies on Jinzhoudialect, the method and main purpose of research.The second chapter generally describes the phonetic system and the features of thePhonology.The third chapter is the comparison between phonetic system of Jinzhou Dialect andMiddle Age Phonetic system, including consonant, vowel and tone.The forth chapter is phonetics comparison between phonetic system of Jinzhou dialectand mandarin system.The fifth chapter is the research about the variability of the phonetic phenomenaincluding the feature of combination tone and the last word tone of uptrend of theinterrogative sentence.The sixth chapter summarizes the difference in pronunciation between the new andthe old of Jinzhou dialect, and the trend of development.
