Protect On Intangible Cultural Heritage:Research On Relationships Among Methods Selection, Inheriting Efficiency And Protecting Performance

Intangible cultural heritage (ICH) faces more problems about resources, species, quantity, distribution, living environment, protecting status quo and so on. To this end, in August2004, China officially joined the "Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage", and the State Department also issued "notice on strengthening protection of intangible cultural heritage", which proposed to further strengthen the protection of tangible cultural heritage(TCH) and intangible cultural heritage(ICH). In June2005, the Ministry of Culture issued a "declaration of the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage List", which established the ICH legal framework. The protection of IHC is different form tangible cultural heritage (TCH), which is not suitable for static isolation and closed-end protection, needs open protection at level of expanded concept and deep-seated situation and requires new protection methods to ensure the preservation value and protection efficiency.The protection idea of ICH has been through continuous evolution. From the view of protection strategy, many methods only give us simple case analysis and experiencing conclusion such as shallow-memory-retention model by means of language or modern scientific and technological tools of cameras, camping and photography, record keeping; skills-replication-heritage model by means of offering memory training courses and social education; local-cultivation and wake-up model by means of protecting the inheritors and ecological environment.First, this study explores the connotations and characteristics of the ICH, perspective and form of the ICH protection, the regulatory role of the-tourist perception and transmission process, and the protection performance variables of ICH. According to the previous studies, the article proposed the conceptual model including method selection, inheritance efficiency and protecting performance variables, and identified research opportunities. Second, build the evaluation model, and propose the hypothesis between key variables. This article proposes latent variables of protection forms, as institutional protection, production protection, tourismification protection, activation protection and inheritance protection;latent variables of inheritance efficiency as transmission process and visitor perception and latent variables of inheritance performance as sustained economic value and culture-space expansion. We analyze that the other variable is the positive influence and support the original hypothesis, and rejected the null hypothesis as "tourismification protection and inheritance process","visitor perception and sustained economic value","transmission process and culture-space expansion" and "visitor perception and income level." Finally, the countermeasures of ICH protection are proposed as strengthen the tourism use of mechanisms and protection system of ICH, improve the tourism development process and achieve the heritage of the ICH Authenticity. We gives some suggestions to enhance the protection of ICH and pointed out the limitations and shortcomings, and further research directions.
