Monks are unique groups in Chinese culture But their influence about Chinese culture is lasting and far-reaching, on the one hand, monks retain the characteristics of primitive Buddhism, On the other hand, monks are affected by Chinese social history and Chinese society deeply, so keep close contact to Chinese history and society, unlike India Mocks. In daily life, monks must abide by discipline strictly, and different from broad peoples in the four essential requirements:food, clothing, housing and transportation. Far from their parents and wife, living single life in temples. But in culture, Monks of Wei Jin Dynasty mostly proficient in Chinese culture, and have close contacted with Chinese scholars, to exert far-reaching influence on Chinese scholars. In Wei Jin Nan Bei dynasty, Chinese scholars began study Buddhism eagerly, after Tang dynasty, scholars are affected by Buddhism commonly. Due to influence of monks to Chinese culture, This is meaningful thing to research monks. The books of retain life about monks are biography which records monks. The article based on biography which write by Hui Jiao living liang dynasty, from four aspect of politic, economic, culture and daily life, to tease life of monks living Wei Jin Nan Bei dynasty, to show the colorful group life of monks living in Wei Jin Nan Bei dynasty.
