The Study On The Ben And Mo Thought Of Wang Bi

During the Han and Wei Dynasty, the Han Dynasty classics gradually decline,one of the most important topics in this time period is how to save the crisis caused bythe social crisis. In order to answer this question, rethink the scholar-bureaucratrelation of Confucianism and Taoism, trying to find a solution path. As the Zhengshimetaphysics beginning figure of Wang Bi, to comment Lao Zi, Analects and Zhou Yithree classics to construct their own metaphysical system, provides a method forreference as the time issue of the Wei and Jin dynasties.“Ben and Mo” is a basic concept of metaphysics in the Wei and Jin Dynasties,the concept of the pre-Qin period has been widely used to illustrate the relationshipbetween things. However,“You Wu”,“Mother and Child”,“One and More” and“Body and Function” were used by Wang Bi to further explain the concept of “Benand Mo” meaning. Wang Bi use the relationship of “Ben and Mo” as a starting point,“Wu is Ben” as the core, to explain the relationship of “language” and “meaning”,“natural” and “Mingjiao”, and solve the historical mission entrusted by the timeseventually. Therefore, Wang Bi’s philosophy is not divorced from the realities ofsocial talk opined, but on social problems.This paper will try to study the meaning of “Ben and Mo” from the relationshipof “You and Wu”,“language and meaning”,“Chong Ben Xi Mo” and “Chong Ben JuMo”, so as to reflect the reality.
