Xinkailiu culture, which is identified by Chinese scholars, is the same culture asLudenaya culture, which is identified by Russian scholars. The two cultures are in factthe same one, which is located at the different riversides along the Wusuli River. Thethesis analyzes fifteen sites related to the two cultures and comprehends them into oneculture, named Xinkailiu-Ludenaya culture. Based on the stratigraphical materialsexcavated in Xinkailiu sites and Lundenaya sites, the thesis divides the development ofXinkailiu-Ludenaya culture into three periods. Finally, the thesis do the research on thechronology of Xinkailiu-Lundenaya culture by analyzing Xiaonanshan cemetery. The14C dating data reveals that Xinkailiu-Ludenaya culture is dated from6000BC to4000BC. The early period is dated from6000BC to5000BC, whereas the middle andlate period is dated from5000BC to4000BC.
