The Truth Beneath The Mask

The film script, Mask, sheds light upon a period of growing up. Under the social upheaval, the internal differentiation of college students becomes more and more serious because of the different family background and education environment. This also reflects the modern people’s spiritual world and material pursuit. Ai Li, a female postgraduate with a mysterious temperament, meets Xu Liang who is a boss of an advertisement company during the time of taking a part-time job. In constant contact with each other, Xu falls in love with Ai. However, this love provokes the malicious snooping and slandering from Ai’s roommates and the admirer of Xu. Ai’s hidden parts of the psyche gradually come into view. After disclosing the knot about the past, Ai suddenly finds that she has to bear another psychological burden. In the face of the conflict between human nature and morality, Ai chooses to hurt herself again and again to repay the debt of conscience. This screenplay attempts to be made into a realistic campus film with an honest and caring attitude.The Truth beneath the Mask——Seek and Find the Trace of Growing Up, tries to summary and explain the theme of the film and the arrangement skills of the plots.
