"Heaven" is the creation of Qu Yuan’s poem, consisting of a total of one thousand fivehundred and sixty words, three hundred and seventy-three sentences, one hundred andseventy-three questions that are put forward, related to the widely astronomy, geography,history, myths, legends and other knowledge in the form of questions. Qu Yuan sees this as abackground to mastery, to express his resentment of＂confidence but doubt, loyalty butslander＂, expresses sigh with motion of "the destiny of opposite side, which punish andwhich bless". The historical part of the three ancient dynasties is the focus of his description,where Shang Jia Wei, Yi Yin, Hou Ji, The Duke Of Zhou, King of Zhou militaryaccomplishments is the priority among priorities, Qu Yuan will make his life experience, theclan and motherland of hate pour on these characters by describing and chanting. However.Due to that "Heaven" has always been difficult, scholars have different understanding, andmore,"the opinion of bamboo slip in disorder" added to difficult of "heaven" to understand, toaffect the study of the above figures.In view of previous research results, this paper divided into eight parta. First of all, thefirst five parts discuss respectively on ShangJiaWei,YiYin,HouJi,King of Zhou of militaryaccomplishments of “Heaven” in appearance, and compared with the Central Plains literature,unearth documents, revealing the similarities and differences of these characters of “Heaven”in description.Secondly, the sixth part criticizes two views of “text disorder” and “ban boomdisorder” of “Heaven”. The two obscures thephenomenons that the content couldn’t be explained due to the statement text not understand.The textual research and discuss of the characters refute the two views as the positiveexample.The seventh part analyses the reasons why the characters in “Heaven” which isdetermined by the background of the Warring States period, cultural environment of Chu, Thelife experience of QuYuan, the conception of history of People of the Warring States period,the requirement of ideal of “Heaven”. The eighth part discuss the action of the elucidation ofthe theme and artistic reveal of “Heaven” through the characters. The paper uses the methodof philology, exegetics, mythology, anthropological theory, archaeological. The paper revealsthe important role of these characters in the theme and in art of “Heaven” through the massiveliterature material research.
