The motivation of art is based on the need.It is a kind of psychological dynamics which isstimulated under a certain circumstances and pointed to a specific art object.In20th century thereare expressionist painters emerging in large numbers in Germany determined by the socialreality.Meanwhile, affected by Nietzsche’s Subjective Idealist Philosophy,Steiner’sPsychoanalytic Theory and Steiner’s Mysticism, they created world-famous works and the rootcause of creation is due to the psychological effects of the social impact.Psychologist Jung mentioned in his book Psychology and Literature that the mystery ofgreat artists can stimulate the images of the prototype from the unconscious. The nature of art isbeyond the artists’ private life. However,Freud suggested painters should search for the mysteryof works from the artists’ private life. Therefore, the best way to probe the relationship betweendisposition and art is to deeply study the artists’ life. The emotional impact on the creation is significant.Someone’s unstable state would showup persistively. While others’ would have a long or short “normal period”. Such sentiments whichlie in artist prevalently also attracted the attention of people.Through the comparing,we can tellthat such sentimental fluctuations probably bring a lot of inconvenience to daily life, evenundergoing pains, but masterpiece would be come out with such sentiments.Especially with theworst period of sentimental fluctuations comes with the high-yield period of works of art.All oftheir sentimental exchange would be reflected in their works of art.
