In the modern and fast-paced urban living environment, as competitive pressure isintensifying, the feelings of apathy are created among people. In the fashionable city that madeof chilled steel and concrete, the longing for the fresh nature, the desire of traditional culturewhich our ancestors left is gradually reflected. Traditional culture which is full of nationalcharacteristics is frantically sweeping the global popular trends. When walking leisurely alongthe load in any ancient city with long history in our country, we can be inadvertently aware thatdistinctive traditional culture is shown everywhere. However, modern metropolises are ingradually devouring the culture of the ancient city which ancestors left for us. Qin and HanDynasties has a symbolic status in the history of Chinese design, and came a new flourishing ofthe arts and crafts design development. Their summary of artistic design language and creativeexperience has left an indelible mark for contemporary China. The local characteristics of theQin and Han dynasties were developed by absorbing much experience of ancestors andgradually improving the national traditional culture. Eaves Tiles, portrait brick, lacquer andmany practical crafts of Qin and Han Dynasties are formed from a set of unique creative idea totechnological virtuosity. We can also say that this is the milepost of traditional culture of China.Decorative art is always the key link of the process that humans search for the beauty and creatthe beauty, is the portrayal of human emotions and aesthetic consciousness in each period. Howto apply the traditional elements of the Qin and Han Dynasties art in modern design ofdecoration has become an important topic of common concern of art circle in recent years.Qin and Han Dynasty Eaves Tiles, bricks, lacquer art contains a colorful artistic charm andrich cultural heritage, in accordance with the massive literature materials, and I use theknowledge of design science, aesthetics, systematics and so on, to analyse the impact aboutdecorative design elements, brick, tile lacquer to contemporary art design. The text has threeparts, divided into introduction, body, conclusion. The first chapter through the analysis ofcreative arts and crafts in Qin and Han Dynasty and related issues, introduces current studyabout contemporary artists for this topic, and the content and ideas of study, methods andsignificance of study. The second chapter, through the Qin and Han Dynasty Eaves Tiles, bricks,the definition, types, historical situation, process and achievements, deeply understand theweight and extensive and profound culture of the Qin and Han. The third chapter, with themeans of decoration design, describe the features about decorative art of the Qin and Han Dynasties how to close to nature life, summarizes that decorative language of Qin and HanDynasties is derived from natural and original beauty, from free and abstract beauty, fromexaggerated and deformed beauty. The fourth chapter, through studying about style tiles,bricks, lacquer, summarizes the vivid artistic charm of tiles, rich aesthetic implication ofportrait brick and decorative pattern and harmonious culture of lacquer. The fifth chapter,combined with tiles, bricks, lacquer design element characteristic, direct the innovation ofmodern decorative art. The conclusion part makes a vision of the new century about moderndecoration art development in the future.
