On The Reasons Of Division And Ways Of Integration Between Scientism Culture And Humanism Culture

Since the industrial revolution, the science and technology has beenaffecting and changing human society profoundly with its huge magic. Asscience and technology helps to improve the productivity and efficiencyof labor, by which provides humanity with abundant material productsand much social wealth, Scientism culture has attract more and moreattention, while humanism culture concerned about human’s inner worldsand spiritual homelands have been gradually discarded and forgotten.Inevitably as a whole human culture----scientism culture and humanismculture cracks. The worship of science and technology and the neglectionof the humanism culture caused a series of serious social problems, suchas ecological crisis and the human crisis. It is urgent to find out thereasons of division and ways of Integration between scientism culture andhumanism culture,then rebuild the relationship between them, and makethem work together to promote the progress of human civiliation and thehealthy development of human society. This paper starts from the proposal of the concept of the "twocultures" and classical cases of conflict between them, then introduce themeanings and characteristics respectivly of scientism culture andhumanism culture, next analysis the reasons of division,disscuss thenecessity of the fusion.At last, give some realistic suggestions to thefusion of two cultures.
