| Based on Heterogeneity of resource-based view, this paper analyzes thecharacteristics of Ruyuan Shan Yao intangible cultural resources and tries to figure outthat whether this kind of inimitable intangible cultural resource can help the localpeople raise their economic performance. The conclusion shows that Ruyuan Guo ShanYao’s non-material cultural resources do have inimitability characteristic, and thedevelopment of this inimitable intangible cultural resource can conducive to theperformance of the local economy, in the end, the author puts up with a few suggestionsto promote tourism economic development in ethnic areas.This paper is made up of4parts:The first chapter is introduction which shows the background, meaning, purpose,research methods, research framework and innovation of this paper, proving thefeasibility and scientificity of it.The second chapter is literature review. In this part, we discuss the definition andclassification of resource, followed by the resource-based theory. After that, it discussthe definition of economic performance, the definition and classification of non-materialculture resource and non-material culture resource in Ruyuan County. At the end of thispart, a brief summary of literature review is given.Chapter III is the most important part—the case study of Ruyuan AutonomousCountry of Yao Nationality where several investigations of Ruyuan’s overall nationalcultural resource situation have been conducted so as to analyze Ruyuan Guo ShanYao’s intangible cultural resource characteristics, finally the conclusion indicates thatits intangible cultural resource do posses the character of Inimitability, so a furtherstudy of the development of non-material cultural resources for local economicperformance has been made to see the relationship between each other.Chapter IV is about conclusions and recommendations. This confirms that RuyuanGuo Shan Yao’s intangible cultural resources are inimitable and it is good for increasinglocal economic performance. According to this conclusion, the auther put forwardseveral suggestions for the development of this region’s tourism economy. The last partof this paper points out the limitations of this study and directions for future research. |
