The survival probability of plant in archaeological environment is very low, which makes variety of crops which came from the East Dashi to China in Tang dynasty can be only seen in documents. Although the direct evidence of the spread and use of crops is not easy to obtain, the indirect evidence is able to find, such as crops in the mural painting and plant vein pattern on handiwork. With a large number of the Tang Dynasty tombs excavated in Xi’an, China, and the beautiful murals in the tombs show us all sectors of society in the Tang Dynasty with a more visual way, among them; there is no lack of plant image. After the analysis, comparison and demonstration of crops in Dashi area in document and plant vein pattern in murals and handiwork, we can see that plants from the east part of Dashi to China in Tang dynasty include fruit trees, such as date palm, pomegranate trees, Qi dun tree, A yue hunzi and Wu shizi, flowers and grass, such as gardenia, aloe and Yie ximing flower.
