As a literary writer,Can Xue arises at the historic moment in the literary world in1980s,Characterized by her grotesque style,she has the title of "eastern kafka" at one point. Can xue’s novels are the rational reflection on the automatic writing,and the dream is subconscious in the case of consciousness letting their guard down an image language.Similar to the generation mechanism, these novels can be regarded as Can Xue’s deliberately "dream",and the purpose is through the "dream" to the unconsciousness.According to the short stories that Can Xue has published,the paper divides them into three stages:1985～1989,1990～1999,2000～2005, this three writing stages,selects six novels as sample from each phase,using the psychoanalysis、archetypal critic-ism、personality psychology and humanistic psychology theory to analyse the "dream".On the basis of analysis,these paper draws a conclusion of self breakthrough performance of three stages, namely, angry and lonely resistence, sad and hard back, gaving birth to the joy of transcendence.Finally, from the cultural influence, childhood complex and self context,to unscramble the historical implication behind the breakthrough performance.We can see the "self" of author is not only influenced by special era and the specific environment,but also comes from the author’s "ugly duckling complex" and the yearn for Beyond inferiority.Can Xue pours huge enthusiasm to explore their own soul and vitality of deep experience into the humble little flesh, is a philosophy written in literature art image, showing the beauty of loneliness of the human in "alive" to "being".It is a way to finding and surpassing self.
